CHAMBER MUSIC RECITAL

Duo Danetri

Ugnė Varanauskaitė is a 22 year old clarinetist from Lithuania, Kaunas. Her first musical studies began in the Music Gymnasium of Juozas Naujalis in Kaunas, where she studied the clarinet at the Vitalius Žemaitis' class and the piano in the class of Marta Lapinskienė. During the school years Ugnė participated in various international solo and chamber music competitions in Lithuania and Latvia, where she has been awarded with high prizes. Furthermore, Ugne has also been participating in various projects, concerts and masterclasses in Lithuania, Poland, France and Germany. She was gaining experience under highly acknowledged clarinetists like prof. Charles Neidich, prof. Laura Ruiz Ferreres, doc. Stephanie Zelnick, prof. Hakan Rosengren and prof. Sabine Meyer. As well as performing as a solist in the international festivals for young musicians and making solo entrances with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra. 


Ugnė Varanauskaitė is currently studying the clarinet performance in the class of prof. Reiner Wehle in Musikhochschule Lübeck. During her studies in Germany she has already participated in various solo, chamber music projects, as well as a member of the orchestras and ensembles under conductors like Simon Bernardini, Hans-Jürgen Schnoor, Christoph Altstaedt, Felix Bender, Bernhard Wulff and others, performing in the prestige concert halls like Laeiszhalle and Elb Philharmonie. Ugne's engagement has been acknowledged by the Maximalist foundation and documented in the book 'Who will be who? The future of Lithuania', as well as Possehl-foundation, Karin Schütz foundation, Förderergesellschaft, Gemeinützige and others. Since 2017 Ugne is active with her officially established chamber music ensembles Trio Klarisono and Duo Danetri. Trio Klarisono has been acknowledged by 'YEHUDI MENUHIN: Live Musik Now' foundation in Hamburg and Lübeck, performing all around the region of Northen Germany, as well as participating in moderated concert series organised by 'Musikerkennen' foundation. Duo Danetri debuted at the same year in Indonesia, performing and giving masterclasses in the University Pelita Harapan and Music Conservatory in Jakarta, Wisma Music Melodia and Universitas Negeri in Surabaya. The Duo was awarded the Grand Prix from the IMKA competition and have been actively participating in cultural projects with cooperation of 'House of culture' in Lübeck. Since 2018 Ugne has been also studying music history and theory as a additional profile under prof. Oliver Korte, participating in historical research and various seminars on new and old music in Germany, Estonia and Chezch Republic.

Danang Dirhamsyah is an Indonesian pianist, currently situated in Germany. His first lessons began in 1996 in Surabaya, Indonesia, where he started to learn the electrone with Farida Pringadie. When he was 12 years old, he decided to learn piano as he developed the passion for playing the classical piano with his theacher Fefe Thesa. Later he independently joined the 1st and 2nd Indonesia Piano Festival in Jakarta and was selected to play at the Gala concert at Usmar Ismail Hall in 2007, which was broadcasted National wide. In the year of 2008, Danang has received an opportunity to attend “Summer Piano Institute” at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, in the National University of Singapore, where he experienced first hand the mastery of the professional playing from Dr. Thomas Hecht. On the same year, Danang started his bachelor studies of the Piano performance under the guidance of Iswargia Sudarno at the Pelita Harapan University in Jakarta, Indonesia. During his studies in Indonesia, Danang gave numerous solo and chamber music concerts and collaborated with renowned musicians in Indonesia. In the year of 2012 Danang successfully finished his bachelor studies and was awarded a special prize of the Asia International Music Festival in Cheonan, South Korea.  

 

Since 2013 he has been a scholarship holder of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and started his 2nd bachelor studies at the Lübeck Academy of Music in the class of prof. Konrad Elser. Danang furthered his studies by choosing a new direction in music and developing a strong bond with the contemporary composers through various concerts, projects and collaborations. His skills have been noticed in the late year of 2015, where he has been selected to play in the “Jünge Kunstler live”(young artist live) - a special live broadcasted concert on NDR Kultur (the North Germany Radio) and appeared at the Brahms Festival 2016, 2017 and 2018 collaborating with renown musicians such as Diethelm Jonas, Johannes Fischer, Troels Svane, Reiner Wehle, Angela Firkins and others. In the same year, he took a great interest in the Balinese Gamelan and has been participating in the ensemble conducted by prof. Dieter Mack ever since. Furthermore, he has been sharpening his piano skills by attending masterclasses of renown professional pianists such as: Inge Rosar, Kirill Monorosi, Pavel Gililov, Willem Brons, Nina Tichman, and Dirk Mommertz.
 

Danang graduated his master's degree in the piano performance under the same Professor in 2018, furthering his knowledge by learning the harpsichord under prof. Hans-Jürgen Schnoor. Since 2017 Danang Dirhamsyah is actively performing in Duo Breva with the French baritone, Erwan Tacher, and in Duo Danetri with a Lithuanian clarinetist, Ugnė Varanauskaitė. His musical and cultural ideas also lead him to "House of culture" in Lübeck, where he has been working and organising projects since 2018.
